Cleaning kitchen walls in a professional environment

This blog post is going to cover the best practice for cleaning kitchen walls in a professional environment.

Important: Always use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when undertaking any cleaning task and follow the manufacturer’s product use and where relevant dilution guidance.

Be aware of any electrical sockets and cover if necessary and remove items to ensure that you have the maximum access to all walls, including those concealed within storage areas.

Using a clean disposable cloth wash these areas using hot water with detergent diluted according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Rinse with clean hot water and a clean cloth to remove all traces of detergent. For a more rigorous clean, scrub the area with a deck scrub nylon brush.

Apply a final rinse with clean warm water.

Allow to dry. Only return items to storage areas once completely dry.
